At a workshop hosted by the ICF Oman Chapter, our co-founder Dr Tarek Jomaa introduced participants to the ROGUE Coaching Model — his peer-reviewed framework published in The Coaching Psychologist and accredited by the ICF for Continuing Coach Education (CCE).

In this 90-minute session, Tarek challenged the limitations of traditional goal-focused coaching. He showed how the ROGUE model shifts the emphasis from chasing outcomes to deeply exploring the client’s current reality, clarifying the hidden dynamics that shape it, and then bridging the gap toward their desired future.

Takeaway: Real transformation doesn’t start with goals — it starts with understanding reality. Only by uncovering the gap between where clients are and where they want to be can lasting change take root.
