In their feature for Leadership Edge Magazine, Synthosys co-founders Dr Tarek Jomaa and Dr Vanessa Pozzali shared the story of a global team that looked like “a family” on the surface — supportive, close, deeply connected — yet struggled to move projects forward.

Using the 4C Model, they uncovered the hidden blockers: unclear accountability, avoided feedback, and inconsistent practices. The radar plots and heatmaps revealed what the team had been sensing but couldn’t name — too much comfort was holding them back.

Through coaching and structured workshops, the team began to reframe clarity and feedback not as threats, but as tools for growth. Six months later, alignment improved across the board, meetings became sharper, and feedback was a daily habit rather than a risk.

Takeaway: Creating high-performing teams isn’t about working harder or caring more — it’s about surfacing the invisible dynamics that hold teams back, and turning them into alignment, clarity, and resilience.
