At the Institute of Leadership’s annual Members’ Reception, held in the historic setting of Warwick Castle, Synthosys co-founder Dr Tarek Jomaa, Fellow of the Institute, was invited to deliver a short keynote.

Previously a keynote speaker at Leadership Live 2025 in London, Tarek used this occasion to reflect on his own journey with the Institute and on the deeper meaning of belonging to such a community.

In his five-minute speech, he highlighted how the Institute has “outdone itself” in creating a mission that involves both fellows and members in something larger than themselves: raising the flag of leadership worldwide. He connected this to Synthosys’s philosophy of anti-fragile organisations — showing that when an institution makes every member feel truly part of the mission, it builds resilience that no challenge can break.

Takeaway: Anti-fragility begins with community. When people feel genuinely involved and valued, organisations — like leaders — become stronger, more adaptable, and more enduring.

The evening was not only inspiring but also unforgettable — a celebration of leadership, community, and shared purpose in the grandeur of Warwick Castle.
