As part of International Leadership Week, Synthosys co-founders Dr Vanessa Pozzali and Dr Tarek Jomaa led a session on rethinking what leadership legacy truly means.

While legacy is often measured in growth, results, and milestones, Synthosys challenged this view. Drawing on the TIC Model, they argued that the most powerful legacy isn’t what leaders build for themselves, but what they embed in others — the people they empower, the teams they strengthen, and the culture they leave behind.

Through years of coaching CEOs and senior leaders, one pattern has emerged: leaders arrive focused on business impact, but leave with a deeper vision — one where their greatest achievement is a thriving culture that outlives them.

Takeaway: Legacy is not about the titles you hold or the outcomes you deliver. It’s about shaping people and culture in ways that endure long after you’ve moved on.
